Teia Ryan

Teia is a dedicated professional with a passion for finance and a heart for helping others succeed. Her career adventure began at 16, when her stepdad landed her a summer job as an Office Admin with Kiewit—a role that sparked her lifelong connection to the construction industry. Numbers have always come naturally to her, and her love for problem-solving and financial analysis guided her toward a career in accounting. Inspired by her desire to build a brighter future for her children, she earned her Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance Management, with invaluable support from mentors along the way.

Her work is grounded in integrity, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Starting as a Project Admin at a large construction company, she grew through roles in HR and finance, eventually stepping into leadership positions that honed her communication, decision-making, and team-building skills. Today, as part of UPM Mechanical, she thrives on collaborating with incredible people—because it’s the employees who make a company truly great.

She stays ahead in the industry through continuous education, research, and networking, always striving for growth—not just for herself, but for those she mentors. Her vision is to rise into a senior leadership role, shaping a forward-thinking team that ensures the company’s success for years to come. What sets her apart is her dual passion for finance and supporting others, paired with a dedication to driving company growth.

At home, she’s cheered on by her amazing crew—her ambitious son Jacob, a Marine Corps firefighter; her hilarious daughter Jordan, soon to join the Marines; her wise stepdaughter Leah, one of her best friends; and her endlessly supportive husband, Tony. Together, they fuel her drive every day.
